White Rice

Arroz blanco            Serves: 6  

Notes: The perfect companion for the black beans

Directions:

Heat oil in a shallow casserole and brown garlic.

Remove the garlic and lower the heat.

Add the water and salt to the oil and bring to a rolling boil.

Add the washed rice and stir. Bring to a rolling boil again, cover and cook over low heat for approximately 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

3 - Cups - long grain rice
4.5 - Cups - water
1 - tbsp. - salt
2 - cloves - GARLIC
3 - Tbsp. - Olive oil
