Cuban Turkey Sandwich

Sandwich de Pavo Cubano

Have one of these for lunch or dinner and enjoy!!
Directions:
1. Preheat sandwich press or Preheat the oven to 350 F. Trim the ends off the loaf and slice the bread in half lengthwise.
2. Spread all bread slices on one side with Dijon mustard. Top a slice of bread with swiss cheese, turkey meat, ham, pickles, and second slice of swiss cheese; top with second slice of bread, Dijon side down. Repeat to make a second sandwich.
3. Spread outside sides of bread with butter and toast in the press or Place the sandwiches on a lightly oiled baking sheet and brush the tops with butter. Place a heavy cast-iron skillet over both sandwiches to weigh them down, and bake until crisp and hot, about 15 minutes.
4. Slice in half and serve.
Ingredients
8 slices of Cuban bread (French bread is acceptable)
8 slices of swiss cheese
4 slices sliced turkey meat
8 slices of ham (4 slices for each sandwich)
4 pickles, sliced lengthwise
Dijon mustard
Butter, at room temperature
